The Story
Dr. Christine Koo is a Board-Certified OB/GYN who has over 15 years of ob-gyn experience. She went into the field of women's health due to her passion for wanting to support and care for women. She has realized that aesthetic medicine also has a place in patient care, with its benefits in both physical and mental health. As a Korean-American doctor who has always had an interest in Korean beauty and skincare concepts, Dr. Koo is excited to incorporate Korean aesthetic practices with Western medical technology in a holistic approach individualized for each person.
The Background
Dr. Christine Koo is a born and bred Jersey girl, having grown up in NJ.
She went to medical school at Rutgers University - University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and did her ob-gyn residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. Since Arizona is a hub for aesthetic training and procedures, she had an early exposure to the field of cosmetic dermatology, which augmented her lifelong interest in Korean skin care concepts. After working in Arizona for several years, she and her husband moved to Kirkland. She worked in her OB/GYN practice for almost 10 years before transitioning to aesthetic medicine. And along the way, they put down roots in the PNW with 3 little kiddos of their own.
